together and create an iPhone app that shows me the happy-food establishments from the Local Harvest database nearest to my location – and give me directions from my current location to the nearest place to get local, free-range, and organic food.
Will help facilitate with love, cookies, and possibly even money.

I have succumbed to Facebook but draw the line at Twitter. For one thing, I don’t need a THIRD place to be posting to! But if you or anyone else reading like to put the tweet out, as it were, that would be great! If we spread this wide enough, I’m sure we’ll find a locavore app developer who wants to take it on…

This is a fabulous idea. I recently upgraded to a blackberry and have found it invaluable when I am trying to find local food and farms in my area. Navigating country roads is the only good use I have found for my GPS. lol
