The “Great Plate” from the University of Michigan

The University of Michigan has a new representation to help people build healthy meals: the Great Plate. The idea is simple: half your plate is covered in vegetables, 1/4 is starch (grains or starchy veg like potatoes), and 1/4 is protein. Much simpler than the Food Pyramid!
