Cue cheering section!

Ok…I think this is the weekend I finally rev up the pressure canner for the first time! The sweet corn is coming in and the freezer space is running out.

Any words of wisdom or encouragement for a first-time pressure canner??

    Corn takes a long time to process this way! I did four cases one year when I was going to be moving at the end of the summer. Have plenty of pre-made food and drink on hand to revive yourself!

    Good luck! It’s such a rewarding feeling, but I also remember all the nerves involved with that first pressure-canning day.
